Amanda Mealing is staying put!?
Casualty actress Amanda Mealing best known for portraying the role of Connie Beauchamp, has reassured fans that she will be staying on Casualty.
Her character was diagnosed with a malignant cardiac tumour last year, and had surgery last Saturday (January 9) when we saw Connie go up to London with Ethan Hardy.
Amanda replied to one of her followers. who asked if the actress would be at the studios in February to receive a gift, Amanda said: "Ah! Thank you. Yes, I can now say that I WILL still be around...although not signed any contract yet. Eek! Best post it!"
